Aricoma joins McLaren Racing’s World Endurance Championship programme
The Central European technology group will partner with the McLaren Hypercar Team across the FIA World Endurance Championship from the 2027 season, including the Le Mans 24 Hours.
The announcement was made in Portimão, where the MCL-HY McLaren Hypercar carried Aricoma branding for the first time.
The FIA World Endurance Championship represents the pinnacle of modern sports car racing and one of its most demanding and inspiring arenas. It is a unique environment in which teams combine world-class engineering, strategic intelligence and human endurance to compete at the very highest level.
Endurance racing places exceptional demands on a team. While a Grand Prix is usually completed in less than two hours, the 24 Hours of Le Mans unfolds across an entire day and night. At four o’clock in the morning – twelve hours into the race, with another twelve still to go – while the Hypercars are battling wheel-to-wheel on track, engineers are working in the relative calm of the garage, interpreting live data and making critical decisions in real time. Much of this work never appears in the highlights, yet it is often where performance, resilience and, ultimately, success are determined.
Aricoma operates in an environment defined by similar expectations. The company designs, delivers and manages mission-critical technology systems for blue-chip enterprises, financial institutions, manufacturers, energy companies and public-sector organisations across Central and Western Europe. For its customers, success is measured not only by innovation and performance, but also by whether essential systems remain secure, available and effective – at every hour of every day.
“Endurance racing is a powerful demonstration of what can be achieved when technology, teamwork and disciplined execution come together under sustained pressure,” said Milan Sameš, CEO of Aricoma. “At Aricoma, our strategy is built on three core pillars: mission-critical reliability, data-driven performance and sustainable innovation. These principles closely reflect the qualities required to succeed in the FIA World Endurance Championship.
“We are proud to partner with McLaren Racing to support its World Endurance Championship programme from 2027. This collaboration represents an important milestone for Aricoma as we accelerate our growth, strengthen our presence across Europe and advance our ambitions in the European market.”
James Barclay, Team Principal, McLaren Hypercar Team added: “The World Endurance Championship has never been more competitive, and in 2027 we will be battling against ten other leading teams and car manufacturers. Success at this level depends on having partners like Aricoma, which share our commitment to innovation and excellence. Aricoma brings deep technology expertise and application capability, so we’re excited to work with them as we take on this new quest at McLaren Racing.”
