For its clients, Home Credit is a partner in shopping and lends money safely and best in the market. Founded in 1997, Home Credit a.s. is now part of a global fintech group that is one of the largest in the world in its field. Home Credit not only helps people with hire purchase directly in stores and online, but also offers cash loans and car loans, consolidation of existing loans or credit cards. The Home Credit group is also behind a number of other brands that are changing and shifting the market, such as Air Bank and Zonky.

Home Credit Vietnam is faced with a large number of new hires and the associated administrative burden placed on the HR department.

The OpenText solution deployed in partnership with Sabris ensured the automated generation of hundreds of HR documents, both in bulk and individually, and their management in electronic employee files. This allows HR staff more time for employee development.

Baseline and project objectives

Prior to the project, the HR department was overwhelmed with operational work due to the large number of new staff joining the company. This left the HR staff with no time to develop employees and deal with administration. Home Credit was also struggling with the limited availability of HR documents. Another problem that the project had to solve was the lengthy process of creating and printing employment contracts.

The aim of the project was therefore to obtain paperless HR records, automate the creation of HR documents in SAP and at the same time speed up the entire recruitment process.

Solution

The creation of contracts and other personnel documents is now initiated from the SAP module HCM, where you can select a specific document type, one or more employees and the method of delivery of the generated documents - print, e-mail or just saving to an electronic folder. This makes the creation of new documents fully automated.

All documents can be accessed by HR staff from the SAP environment, as well as by employees, their managers and other staff using the OpenText web portal. This provides easy and clear access to current documents. 

The entire project, which lasted several months, was managed from the Czech Republic and has the ambition to extend this standardised solution to other Home Credit companies.
