The first step is usually to perform a comprehensive analysis of the current state of the infrastructure, the resources and systems used, the style of working with data and setting up user access, which includes the following best practice guidance:

• licensing recommendations,
• suggestions on permission settings,
• recommendations on data partitioning,
• workflow and application usage guidance,
• recommendations for adoption across the organisation.

Based on the results of the analysis, we are then able to work with the customer to develop a comprehensive proposal for a Microsoft 365 migration plan, which will translate the recommendations into specific steps that need to be taken for a successful transition of the entire company or part of it to the Microsoft 365 environment. Most often we perform here:

• design of Sharepoint Online structure,
• migration of data to Sharepoint Online (from older versions of shp and from file systems),
• setting access rights according to predefined groups (from local AD),
